Lets face it, Hollister always has super cute things to buy, But sometimes I can't justify spending $30 on a tank top with a small ruffle on the top of it. SO! I decided to make my own!
First start with a regular tank top
This one is from wet seal and I have had it for the longest time and have never worn it
Cut a piece of eyelet ruffle and add an inch to each side.
I did this twice so I have 2 ruffles, one right underneath the other
I hand sewed the ruffles on
MAKE SURE TO TRY IT ON BEFORE YOU SEW IT ON
Hem the sides of the ruffles around the back
Thats about it!
It took me about 10 min. to make from start to finish
