Fahrenheit 4 in 1 Clipless Curling Iron Set

Fahrenheit 4 in 1 Clipless Curling Iron Set

So I just bought this curling iron on Amazon.com! This was my reward if any of you can remember form the beginning of march! I blogged that if I worked out all march, then I would buy one of the things on my wish list! Well, this was a very busy month, and I got sick twice, not to mention school was absolutely crazy! So even though I did not work out every day this month, I think I deserve a reward! So I bought it anyway!

I am thinking about doing a review when it arrives! So stay tuned!

Tiffany And Company Inspired Leather Hair Bow

Ok, so recently, a brand new Tiffany and Company Jewelry store opened up in a mall by my city! Because I am a
cheapity-cheap-cheaperson
There is no way I can afford to shop at Tiffanies.
But!
I can make things that are inspired by the store!
That is where this hair bow comes into play, it is made out of leather that had a sparkle finish to it, and I painted the outside edges tiffany blue (the closest color I could find to it anyway)made this bow and called it good!

Earring Score On Ebay?

So recently, like 20 minuets ago, I was on ebay furiously bidding on these small skrew-like earrings. Ok, I was the only one bidding on them, but hey! I got them for the low low price of $1.00! Shipping and handling was $2.99, but if figured that it was worth it. I have been looking for a pair of earrings like this for a long time now. Ones that look like they are going through your ear. Now i realize they are not entirely in style, but I have wanted earrings like this for literally 5 plus years!

Another reason why I liked these so much was because G-Dragon (from the Korean Group "BIGBANG" wears a pair just like them in one of his music videos) and seeing that I am a MAJOR BIGBANG fan, I decided to get this pair of earrings to commemorate my indefinite love for their music!

Now, I bought them from a seller in China.... so I don't know if they will ever get to me, or if they will even look like the picture. Buying things form China is never the best idea, especially when you are buying them directly from China. But I thought "Hey why not!?!" so I payed the 4 dollars and am now hoping for the best!

I will be sure to update on if they came or not, the condition, and if I even like them! Also, I hope they even fit in my ears, my ears are not gauged, they are just a standard piercing, so who knows if these bad boys will even fit!

Easy DIY Leather Headband - Part 3 Of 3!

The last instalment of my first 3 part series! still very cute, this time it is a headband! this is part 3 of a 3 part series. Each part gets more complicated and the creation gets more beautiful. I am using leather because I was given a whole bunch of leather samples from a local custom furniture store, and I didn't want any of it to go to waste.

The pattern pieces are located on this blog under the label "Pattern Pieces"!

Patter Pieces For 3 Part Leather Series

OK! So here are the pattern pieces/ cutouts for the 3 part leather  hair accessories series. This really is all the pieces I used, excluding the band for the headband, which is just 2 strips of leather about 1 cm. X 8 In. And you can just eyeball that, because it is a simple rectangle. Well, best of luck to all that try this! and let me know how it goes!

DIY A Plain Old Bag Into A Cute, Chic Gift Bag!

3 Pieces of ribbon
2 inches
8 inches
10 inches

Glue the ends to each other, to form circles, out of the 8 and 10 inch ribbon

Glue the middles together to form 2 figure 8's

Glue the two bowes, the 8 inch on top of the 10 inch

Wrap the 2 inch piece of ribbon around the center of the bow

Measure around your bag and then add about 4 inches, just in case

Fold your bag down

Decide where you want your ribbon to go

Mark it with a pencil

Measure from the bottom of the bag to the mark you just made, and measure up the entire bag, so you have a guideline for the next step

Use Elmer's glue to pipe a line on the pencil marks

For extra suport, I used a square tupperware container to add structure to those hard to get to spots on your bag

This is what your bag will look like

glue the bow on the middle of the bow, I glued it to the part of the ribbon that overlapped

This is the finished product! It looked really nice, and my cousin (whom the gift was for) really liked it, unfortunately the bow was not glued down securely enough and it fell off!! But other than that, it worked really well!
